Core Dog Vaccines with our Mokena Veterinarian

Core dog vaccines are recommended for every dog, regardless of whether they spend the majority of their time inside or outside. Our New Lenox veterinarian can vaccinate your puppy, adult dog or senior dog against rabies, parvovirus, and hepatitis. It is important to note that rabies vaccinations are required by law. You can start vaccination your dog as early as six to eight weeks of age.

Preventative Animal Care with Non-Core Dog Vaccines

Non-core dog vaccines are recommended for dogs that are deemed high-risk. Preventative New Lenox animal care vaccines include adenovirus, parainfluenza, kennel cough, leptospirosis, coronavirus and Lyme disease.

Other Preventative Care Measures from our Orland Park Veterinarian

If you have questions about how to keep your dog healthy or you need preventative medications for external and internal parasites, our Orland Park veterinarian would be happy to talk with you and determine the best preventative medications for your pet.

Core Cat Vaccines with our Mokena Veterinarian

Core cat vaccines are recommended for all cats, regardless of their lifestyles. Core vaccines from our Mokena vet include rabies, which is required by law and must be kept up-to-date, feline distemper and herpes. The vaccination process for cats can start as early as six weeks of age.

Preventative Animal Care with Non-Core Cat Vaccines

Pet Vaccination Schedules

In puppies and kittens, vaccinations can be started between the ages of six and eight weeks. Vaccinations in older pets can be started at any time. Most vaccinations require yearly boosters or boosters every three years. Our vet can help determine your pet's vaccine schedule in order to provide the best Homer Glen care.
